HDGreen® Plus Safe DNA Dye - Intas

Ethidium bromide (EB) is the most commonly used nucleic acid stain in molecular biology labs. It has been proved to be highly mutagen and is therefore considered hazardous for people and the environment.

HDGreen® Plus Safe DNA Dye is a nucleic acid stain which can be used as a safe alternative to the traditional Ethidium bromide stain for detecting nucleic acids in agarose gels. It fluorescents DNA bands optimally when excited by UV or Blue LED light. HDGreen® Plus Safe is a non-toxic fluorescence dye for the detection of DNA/RNA in agarose gels. The mutagenicity tests performed by an independent laboratory classify HDGreen Plus Safe as non-mutagenic. lt is as sensitive as ethidium bromide and can be used in exactly the same way in agarose gel electrophoresis with some extra possibilities.

Green Stain is a 1000X (in DMSO) fluorescent dye which is easy-to-use for nucleic acid detection in electrophoretic gels. It can be used in pre-electrophoresis gel staining, sample pre-staining as well as in post-electrophoresis gel staining.

Ruby Red Stain is a ready-to-use kit for quick and sensitive protein staining in polyacrylamide gels. It makes it possible to nicely visualize and quantify protein with the same sensitivity as silver staining without its drawbacks.  The kit also includes fixing and destaining solutions.
