Cell Culture

Cell Culture Dishes

Available with tissue culture treatment for optimum cell attachment and growth or non-treated for suspension cultures. The outer edges are bevelled which make these small dishes easier to handle without accidentally displacing the lids, even when stacking. The lids of the 150 mm dishes have four ergonomically placed grip tags for secure handling with less strain.

  • Stacking rings with vented design for thermal equalisation
  • Vented lids improve gas exchange
  • All CytoOne dishes have untreated lids to minimise condensation
  • Easy to open sleeves in convenient, small pack sizes
  • 35, 60, 100 or 150 mm dishes

cell culture plates

Cell Culture Plates

The multiwell plates of CytoOne have unique 360o chimney wells. Due to this feature the media will be evenly divided around the wells and create a uniform temperature exchange. This reduces clumping of cells around the edges, and therefore create a more uniform cell layer.

The lids have condensations rings to minimise contamination and works as vent to improve gas exchange.

Available in 6, 12, 24, 48 and 96 wellplates.

Cell Culture Flasks

The tissue culture treated flasks are ideal for cell attachment and growth. The non-treated flasks are ideal for hybridoma and suspension cultures. We offer flasks with 2 kind of caps: 2-position plug seal caps and vented filter caps.

The 2-position plug seal cap enables manual venting or airtight sealing. The vented filter caps with a 0.2 µm hydrophobic membrane eliminates bacteria and fungal contaminants.

All flasks contain stacking rims with vented design and wide necks for easy access.

cell culture flasks

Our NEW Erlenmeyer Flasks  are made out of polycarbonate material and are ideal for bacterial culture. What makes them unique is their Dual-Function Cap.

  • UNIQUE Dual-function cap: unscrew to convert from closed to the vented cap. They can be used for aerobic cultures (vented) or anaerobic cultures (closed).  To avoid the inconvenience of switching caps, simply remove the top section to allow sterile exchange, and then replace when ready, with no contamination risk
  • Design to be reused! Autoclavable and reusable unlimited times
  • Broad temperature range: From -40 to 130 degrees celsius.

cell scrapers

Cell Scrapers

The cell scrapers consist of a strong ABS handle and a flexible silicon blade. The silicon blade gently lifts the cells from the surface as it ensures better contact to the surface of the flask. This reduces the amount of destroyed cells. The cell scraper can turn 360o around the handle for easy access.

  • 11 mm fixed blade with 220 mm straight handle, ideal for dishes and plates
  • 10 mm pivoting blade with 250 mm single angle handle, suitable for small flasks
  • 12 mm pivoting blade with 320 mm dual angle handle for large flasks
Bottle top filtration unit

Filtration Units

The Bottle Top Filtration units have a wide base for stability and a wide, easily accessible bottle top for efficient use. The reservoir bottle caps have large ridges for easy loosening or tightening. The clever hose connector is designed to fit multiple hose diameters.

  • Pore sizes: 0.22 and 0.45 µm
  • Compatible with standard GL 45 thread of standard bottles
  • Temperature range: -20°C to +50 °C

Cell Strainers

The fast, easy and simple alternative for traditional filtrations. Ideal for dissociation of stem cells and other tissue derived primary cells. The single cell suspensions are perfect for preparation of samples for flow cytometry, fluorescence-activated cell sorting (FACS), and other application related to cell separation.

Centrifuge Tubes (15 & 50 ml)

The centrifuge tubes can be used for standard centrifugation, preparation and storage applications.

  • Conical tubes (15 and 50 mL): 12.000 x g
  • Skirted Tube (50 mL): 6.000 x g
  • Longer length screw caps with sealing ring prevent leakage

Serological Pipettes

Polystyrene pipettes which are perfect for sterile serological and tissue culture applications.
The pipettes are individually wrapped in traceable paper-plastic peel-back packs including lot number and expiry dates. They are available in 7 different sizes of which three sizes are also available without a polyolefin filter plug (2 ml, 5 ml, 10 ml).

Features
•    Accuracy ± 2%
•    Color-coded for easy identification
•    Bidirectional graduations
•    Non-cytotoxic and non-haemolytic USP Class VI polystyrene
•    Gamma sterilized to SAL 10-6 (ISO11137)
•    Certified RNase, DNase, Latex and Pyrogen free

Syringe filters

Half the hold up volume of some other syringes on the market! Choose between PES, PVDF or Cellulose Acetate Membranes of 0.22 or 0.45 µm. The 33 mm diameter filters are suitable for volumes between 10-200 mL. They can be used for cell culture media and additives, biological solutions and buffers.

  • High bubble point membrane provides tighter pore size for greater security
  • High burst pressure for safe operation
  • Large filtration surface
  • Low hold up volume - maximum recovery of your solution
