Fluorescent labels for peptides

INBIOS offers a wide variety of fluorescent labels for peptide research. The vast majority of the below listed labels are designed for labeling peptides at the N-terminus.

Labeling at other position within the sequence or at the C-terminus can be also achieved by appending the chosen label to the amino function of a Lysine side chain.

 

All reported prices refer only to labeling on a 10 micromolar synthesis scale, leading, for an average Molecular Weight of 2000 (peptide of 12-15 residues + label), to a 2mg of labeled peptide with a >95% purity. The listed prices should be added to the peptide price.

NOTE
When labeling at the N-terminus, the insertion of a suitable hydrophilic spacer between label and peptide is strongly advised to avoid that the hydrophobic/bulky label hampers proper molecular recognition of the peptidic moiety. We always suggest the use of LC** = 8-amino-3,6-dioxaoctanoic acid (hydrophilic spacer)
